WOMEN’S ADVENTURE RETREAT: Early Bird Registration

WOMEN’S ADVENTURE RETREAT: Early Bird Registration

TODAY is Monday but it also marks 23 more days for you to register for the early bird special of the Women’s Adventure Retreat. Colorado, bright colorful Aspens, small group (10 only), and fresh mountain air. This is not your average retreat.

We want you to explore your best self by re-igniting your Purpose in a Place that fosters Presence. If you don’t know what’s going on inside, it makes life “wonky” on the outside. If you know me, you know there will be a fun component, you know there will be hiking, and you know there will be activities that bring clarity and direction to your life. If you have gotten off the trail somewhere or you are a stuck or in transition, this is the very retreat that will be your GPS guide in the future.

Remember, 23 days and counting for the early bird special! There are still spots left! Take a look at the attached information and reach out if you have further questions. You won’t be disappointed!

Mastermind on the Mountain Hike

Mastermind on the Mountain Hike

Another successful Mastermind on the Mountain hike! Great company, fabulous trail, beautiful wildflowers and a fabulous environment to make connections with others who appreciate learning and growing. This Mastermind was on the topic of Communication. Hear what they say! A good time had by all!

There are few ways to make the most comfortable and authentic connections but from spending time wandering around in nature. Many business owners and entrepreneurs go to Networking meetings and conferences to make connections and network with others. I do too – however, I am reminded, over and over and over again how easily people start as strangers and end with wanting to be connected to others on a hike.  No dress code, no expectations, and no preconceived notions of how to act and behave. A free spirited way to make connections, do business, and capitalize on referrals while seeing wildflowers along the way, appreciating the calm of nature, and engage in thoughtful discussions that enhance yourself and your business.

LAST TidBit Tuesday

LAST TidBit Tuesday

Happy LAST Tidbit Tuesday. (This is a longer video since I have final things to share). I have had a great time sharing these Tidbits with you for the last year. I didn’t have a plan to do 52 tidbits, but here we are a year later – how did that happen?
In my very first tidbit on VISION, I wanted to remind you to “hold on” to your vision regardless of the disrupting circumstances that were falling all around us. Then the next week I had another tidbit to share, never planning to make it a weekly “thing.”
The tidbits were not planned or outlined, they erupted organically from what I was seeing, hearing and experiencing all around me. Sometimes I didn’t know the tidbit until Tuesday morning. As I review the tidbits, the most common themes were: hope, light, faith, purpose, forward thinking, and positive perspective.
My purpose was to share those reminders and perspectives with you. I hope they did bring hope, light and perspective to you, particularly during a time of doom, gloom and uncertainty.

Statistics:
ALL but one tidbit was delivered outside in nature
ALL but one tidbit was delivered by video
One tidbit Tuesday was missed due to an INTERRUPTION. I made up for it.

The top 5 tidbits with the most “likes” were: Purpose (dog sledding example), Belief, It’s never too late, Value of a name, and AWE.

My favorite tidbits were: Purpose, Dangers of making assumptions, Doing your best (not perfect) is good enough, Success or significance, AWE

My videos were not perfect, I was not perfect in my videos, I didn’t say things perfectly nor did I look perfect particularly as the wind was blowing and I was out hiking. I did not have the perfect ensemble of clothes. But, I wanted to share and offer hope and light to you. My hope is that it did just that! Thanks for putting up with me…know that I appreciated your comments and feedback along the way.

Enjoy this new freedom and may you use it wisely, productively as you bring light to those around you. When in doubt, go to the light. You won’t be disappointed.

CONNECTION: The value in it!

CONNECTION: The value in it!

When was the last time you reached out and made a connection to meet someone for the first time or someone you have not seen a long time? COVID has certainly fostered isolation and disconnection from others but thank goodness for zoom! Meet Jason Todd…a person I met virtually on his Podcast (Coffee with Humans). With both of us stepping out, being intentional and assertive about following up and furthering a connection, we discovered much more about ways we can collaborate and grow in our respective business ventures. We meet face to face for the first time…it was worth the effort and intentionality to go to the next level. We urge YOU to reach out to others and make CONNECTIONS! It’s worth it, friends! DO IT!

WISDOM: Does it only come with age?

WISDOM: Does it only come with age?

Do you think WISDOM only comes with age? We often hear the phrase “older but wiser” but don’t you think that wisdom comes at any age? I’ve recruited my 2 young great nieces to talk about their idea of wisdom…where it comes from, how does one get it, and who is wise in their life. Don’t underestimate the value of wisdom at any age. Know the wisdom you gain from your own children or young people, sometimes more than you gain from people who are older. ENJOY!
